WHO WE ARE

MOSCA is a brand designed by Alessandro Crosato, founder of “Industries Italia” and CEO of “Slow + Fashion + Design” Association.

Our creative studio and showroom are surrounded by beautiful countryside, within the province of Treviso, an area of Italy still inhabited by a strong textile culture of high-end clothing and quality.

Our goal is a product from a newly revived concept of short supply chain.

WHY “MOSCA”?

It' is a small triangle of fabric sewn on each side between the front and the back of the shirt to reinforce the seam.

FABRICS

The fabrics and materials of the collections are made by certified Italian suppliers, either organic or recycled when possible, always the result of careful ethical research.

Each of our designs are consistently in line with MOSCA’s core values.

PRODUCTION

All our suppliers apply to our code of ethics and responsibility towards to the environment.

SHORT SUPPLY CHAINS

MOSCA cooperates with “Slow + Fashion + Design”  association, whose scope is to connect Companies who share same values. 

The first and foremost element of our business model is a short supply chain, to enhance our region’s historical textile and creative tradition.

Shortening distances is the primary step to save energy and CO2, ultimately for the benefit of the environment.

Shortening supply lines is also a way to invest in our local Italian creativity: designers, product managers and product developers from our region.

Our policy of transparency is to provide names of our material, sourcing and garment suppliers, always to be ethical and responsible.

RESPONSIBLE PRODUCTION AND CONSUMPTION

In our dealings with both suppliers and consumers our aim is that our high ethical standards show through via clear and precise communication.

TRACEABILITY LABEL

Our products feature a product traceability label, a proof of our commitment to social responsibility and transparency.

PACKAGING

Our products are lovingly prepared for dispatch to our customers using recycled paper, reducing the use of plastics.

SLOW+FASHION+DESIGN

The aim of S+F+ D is the revival and promotion of skills once common place amongst artisans and craftmen in our Veneto region, in recent decades at risk of being lost, making use of  these local skills and resources provides a more sustainable and ethical business model.

A revival of a ‘localised’ business model benefits sustainability and circular fashion.
